Damn. I never had the pleasure of meeting Lyle Tuttle in person but I’ve heard countless stories about the man, the myth, the legend. I worked with one of his many apprentices at Ancient’s Arts Tattoo in Renton, Wa., but was not at the shop when Lyle stopped by. So I photoshopped my face over Michel DeWitz’ body as a joke many years back. The tattoo industry lost a real legend. RIP Lyle Tuttle.
