I began my tattoo career in 1989 tattooing my punk rock friends in Albuquerque New Mexico. Soon after I sought professional guidance.. I began apprenticing at The Emporium of Design in Denver, Colorado. From 1994 to 1999, I managed Route 66 Tattoo in Albuquerque, New Mexico, before relocating with my family to Washington State. There, I joined Lucky Devil Tattoo in Seattle and later founded Tsunami Tattoo in Tacoma in 2000. For the next two decades, Tsunami operated in its original 38th Street location, earning a reputation for excellence and artistic integrity.

In 2021, I redefined the direction of Tsunami Tattoo to focus on a more personalized and elevated client experience. My goal was to move beyond the fast-paced atmosphere of a traditional studio and create a space where each client receives my full attention. Tsunami Tattoo is now a private, appointment-based studio dedicated to comfort, creativity, and connection.

With more than 30 years of experience tattooing around the world, I bring a depth of skill and perspective shaped by both my career and my own experiences as a collector of tattoos. This combination allows me to offer clients an experience that is professional, meaningful, and collaborative.

I currently split my time between Tsunami Tattoo in Tacoma, Washington, and All Is One Tattoo in Albuquerque, New Mexico—two cities that have both deeply influenced my artistic journey.

I am an award-winning tattoo artist whose work has been featured in numerous publications. My clientele has included a wide range of individuals—from members of Guns N’ Roses to Steve-O even my mother. Each trusting me to bring their vision to life through the art of tattooing.
