About Us
Tsunami Tattoo has been owned and operated in Tacoma since 2000.
A staple of Tacoma tattooing, the artists at Tsunami Tattoo strive to create unique, and skilled artwork that fits an array of styles in a relaxing setting atmosphere. Our goal is to run a professional space that encourages creativity and honors our craft in a fashion that goes outside of the box of a conventional tattoo studio.
We operate the studio by appointment only and do not accept walk-ins. Click through our Artists tab to look at portfolios and find the artistyou would like to work with. For appointments, connect with the artist directly using the email listed in their bio. If you have general questions, or to find out about same or next day appointments go to the Contact tab to reach the shop email.
When contacting artists, please fill out the contact form to the best of your ability. Include important things like size, placement, anything we should know about the area such as scars, moles, cover-ups, etc.
We are located 1308 MLK Jr in the Fulcrum Gallery in Tacoma’s Hilltop Neiborhood.
There are no signs posted on the building as we wish to keep a low profile. There is plenty of street parking around the studio

Deposits & Payment
In order to complete an appointment with us, we require a non-refundable deposit. Please note that appointments CAN NOT be confirmed until a deposit has already been received.
All artists are independent contractors and not employees of Tsunami Tatttoo. All deposits go directly to the artist. Tsunami does not retain any deposits .
Refunds and forfeiture for deposits due to lost ,missed or late arrival are at the soul discretion of the artist . Please check with your artist for their policies.
Shop Rules
Must be 18 + and have a valid ID or Passport.
No cellphone conversations inside the shop. We kindly request that you bring headphones if you’d like to listen to music or watch videos on your phones.
Please stay in contact with your artist on the day of your appointment. You will receive specific instructions for what to do when you arrive. We look forward to having you.
We do not allow children in our space. Due to the size of the studio we may ask anyone you bring with you to leave during the session. They may return toward the end. Please be curious to other clients in our space. This includes heavy perfumes lotions ,topics of conversation or just being annoying. Please Respect the space..
